Here is a listing of remincences of living during the Great Depression - http://www.michigan.gov/hal/0,1607,7-160-17451_18670_18793-53511--,00.html All kinds of stories about how times were. These should be easy to convert to interview form.

Here's one about 1930s farm life - look tot he left navigation bar. having worked at a living history farm, I KNOW their facts are accurate -http://www.livinghistoryfarm.org/farminginthe30s/life_01.html

This should also be easy to turn into an interview.

Good luck.

A great resource would be any book or article by Studs Terkel. He did great interviews covering a long period of history, particularly the Depression and WW II.
