i used the 14 day free trial pass for my zune and my days are up. all the songs i downloaded from the pass wont play on the zune program on my computer. they have little red x's by the songs i downloaded. Why is it not letting me play it should let me keep the songs i downloaded from the pass right?

Uh... no.

All subscription models work the same way, be it iTunes, Zune, or some other store: you pay a monthly fee and can listen to what you want, when you want.

However, when the subscription ends, so does your right to play the music. The ONLY way to get the music back is to renew the subscription service or buy it outright from the Zune marketplace.

Otherwise the only music you can continue to use is:

1. Music you purchased outright from the Zune Marketplace.

2. Music you've imported from your PC into the Zune software.

ok, right this is the way it is going (i'm a Zune expert): After the trial is accomplished, you don't get to maintain the songs anymore. it relatively is how a subscription service works. you may shop the songs you downloaded throughout the time of your trial. you won't be in a position to maintain them on your Zune in case you sync it on your pc back. you won't be in a position to maintain them on your library. yet you may in case you pay a subscription fee each and each month. Zune costs $14.ninety 9 a month. this is like an all you may consume. as long as you maintain paying the month-to-month fee, then you definately can shop each and every of the songs you opt for for. get carry of as many as you opt for for. Get as many as you opt for for. as long as you maintain paying the month-to-month fee. in case you have anymore questions, basically digital mail or IM me. replace: do no longer hear to the iPod guy. i'm fairly specific he's use to iPods (that are no longer a million/2 undesirable), yet he's possibly no longer used to Zunes. I advise, whilst in comparison with me, i might maximum possibly have a extra desirable and precise answer.
