the earlier the better!
The sperm count does generally go down the older you get and the odds of you having a "healthy" baby are less as you get old, but 35 is not old!!!!!
The time should be right for you both, not just rush into it because time is against you!
A baby is a big thing!!!! - make sure you are BOTH ready and then take it from there!
Good Luck to you both!!!

In my opinion old is like 45 to be having a baby. I mean you do want your child to be able to play with his/her father. Man's Fertility Declines with Age Most men realize the importance of women's age and their abilty to have a baby. But the research is increasingly indicating that the age of the man is important too. If you are putting off having a baby beacause of your partner's and your career or are reluctant to compromise a comfortable standard of living for longer you better think again. A Man's age does affects his fertility. It amy also increase the risk of miscarrage. Having an older father. Medical researchers are looking at the link between a man's age and the risk of having a child with Down syndrome. Early studies suggest that if a father is older than 40 and a mother is older than 35, they have an increased risk of having a child with Down syndrome. 3

His age does not matter as much as your age. You should try before you hit 30 and 35 at the latest.
Social convention says that your husband should try to have a baby with you so you two may see the child grow up to at least adulthood i.e.20-25 thereabouts. You would like him to at least see his possible grandchildren.
I recommend you start having one as soon as you two are prepared to commit to having a child. (Prefably now I would think, but this is ultimately your's and your husband's decision. You should not rush into things just for the sake of age complications.)
Good luck

As long as he is still producing sperm, you can have a baby together without being concerned about his age having an impact on the baby's health. The reason that a woman's age can impact the health of a baby is because she already has all of her eggs, she does not continually reproduce them. Men are constantly developing fresh, new, strong swimmers (normally)! Go for it! You are young, you have a good chance of being able to get pregnant!

A man's age plays some role in conception, but 35 is still young for a man. The risks don't go up yet as they would with a woman.
You don't have to rush into anything.
Good luck!

His age has very little effect as long as he is in good health. Men in their 80s father perfectly healthy kids.
I would say that 65 is about the oldest a man should sire kids at because otherwise he may not live to see them get to high school.

At 35 wouldn't say that was old I know of men who have children in their 50s there are no guarantee that any child will be born healthy and no his age shouldn't have any effect whatsoever.

your husbands age will not effect the babys potential health, its a mothers age that can increase the risk of certain abnormalities. Talk thing through with your husband and try for a baby when your both ready. good luck

With men I don't think that it effects pregnancy. Also the age does not reflect how healthy or not your child will turn out. There is no guarantee with that, just hopes. My father was 48 when i was born, and I turned out as healthy as a bug. I hope this helps.

His age doesnt effect anything. The baby develops in the woman's body, and is effected by her health.
Aside from genetics theres nothing else the father does for the childs development in the womb.
