Actually is the work of tonado. It suck up the water and fishes from the lake and it ended up in the cloud. When the cloud travel across Honduras, it rains. When it rains, the fishes drop with the rain.

It's one of the many mysteries that have many theories... none of them are anything wacky (as far as I know), but I'm guessing it's a weather 'glitch'. When there are powerful winds (such as a tornado), fish, small creatures or anything which is light - are carried up into the clouds (when weather subsides)... after the cloud has moved location - and it becomes dense - gravity caused them to naturally fall out as rain onto the ground... it's logical and simple BUT there's a slight problem with this: most cases of fish falling from the sky have ONLY contained (live) fish - and no seaweed, rocks - or other types of organism... Weird huh? That's why it's still a mystery!
And it's not JUST fish, some places have had cases of snakes, frogs, birds and even MONEY - fall out from the sky in masses.

The fish would be sucked up by a waterspout. The fish would be suspended in the atmosphere by wind, freeze, get heavier, and thaw while falling back to earth. Strong winds can carry the fish long distances. Do not underestimate the powers of wind. It blows sand from the saraha desert all the way to america over the oceans!

It also rains frogs in Pennsylvania. Really simply. A waterspout is essentially a tornado over water, if a waterspout forms - picks up some fish and transports them high into the sky before disipating, the incautious pedestrian could get caught in a rainstorm that included flying fish!

Yep, it's actually quite simple. Water spouts form over the ocean, kind of a liquid tornado. When the spout goes over land all the fish in the spout fall to the earth creating the illusion of raining fish. Happens lots of places near water.

does it have to do with oceanic tornados during the fish mating season? if the eggs were pulled up into the air by a vortex right at the perfect time the eggs may hatch in the air and the fish would fall to the ground flipping. it has happened with frogs for sure.

It's simple, actually! During evaporation, fish and frog eggs are lifted into the clouds where they can hatch and fall during a rain storm. I live in FL and have personally witnessed tiny frogs falling from the sky!

Sometimes a wind can pick up eggs (and other things--have you ever seen Tornado). Later fish, cats, dogs, and other things come out of the air.
