I dropped a red Sharpie marker on my friend's sunglasses(the tip of the marker landed on the frame, not the lens) and I was wondering if there was any way of removing the mark without damaging the finish on the glasses. The part that is marked is made of plastic. I haven't tried anything yet, so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Bissell kitchen cleanser will clean sharpie of of most anything. Occasionally Mr. clean magic eraser will also. Magic eraser is available most everywhere, but the bissell kitchen cleaner is in a green-blue color spray can available at most dollar stores. Do not spray the bissell in any wallpaper it will take the color off.

Try greased lightening and a mr clean eraser. I marked rubbermaid container about 8 years ago maybe longer and the sharpie came off like magic.

I'm pretty sure she's right about the rubbing alcohol. A dipsh*t I worked with used Sharpie on a dry-erase board & thats what took it off!! Good Luck!
