A lot of I.T. Techs will tell you "Do NOT open any emails from people you do not know" due to the high risk of receiving a virus from that person, also do not foreword that email to a close friend otherwise the potential virus can infect their system as well.

If your email is on your personal home computer, block that person, if the emails continue, contact your ISP (Internet service provider) and file a harassment claim, they may be able to help keep these emails from coming in.

If this is at work, notify your I.T. manager and allow them to take the required steps to get this person to stop.

If you are using a generic email such as Yahoo or Hotmail, sort it as SPAM and if they continue email the "help desk"

Block that sender. Your e-mail service should have an option where you can do that.
