Click on start, click run, type in msconfig, go to the tab that says startup, and look for AIM, uncheck aim. (This only works if you are the computer administrater)

1) press windows key (the little flag) and R atthe same time
2) when the "run" box pops up type in "msconfig" without the qoutation marks
3) then go to the startup tab
4) find program named "aim.exe" and uncheck
5) press "apply" and restart

Your good to go
