Holland is a part of the netherlands. The Netherlands contains 12 provinces called: Zeeland, Noord Brabant, Limburg, Gelderland, Overijsel, Utrecht, Zuid Holland, Noord Holland, Drente, Friesland and Groningen. As you can see Holland are actually 2 provinces of holland. In Noord Holland and Zuid Holland You have 'de Randstad'. Most people live or work in this part of The Netherlands. Here are also Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Den Haag (the Hague) to be found.
