Friday night I noticed a knot on my inner forearm in between my wrist and my elbow. It did not have any color and it was only a little sore if you touched it. The area around the knot slowly started bruising. Today, Sunday, the bruise is about 2 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. The knot is still there but I do not think that it has changed sizes. I am wondering if I could have a knot in the vein in my arm that runs up from my wrist?

They tend to be in the arms and legs, most likely that is the way they look and the more active you are, the more your veins are visable.

I had all 4 of my completely grown awareness teeth pulled mutually. I in trouble-free terms took Ibuprofen for soreness and to stay away from swelling and that i grow to be completely effective. I even don't understand why it hurts some people more beneficial than others. I regularly bruise at the same time as giving blood or if I actually have an IV inserted. It has never left a scar. The bruise from bleeding lower than the floor oftentimes looks like the blood ran. It don't have strains through it. Judging through the strains of your bruising (and the swelling), i'd wager that you bled and the blood leaked more beneficial slowly around the position the bandage grow to be using stress. it is possibly why it is a touch swollen - the blood grow to be being held quite of flowing freely. i'm no longer a medical professional, besides the undeniable fact that. you'd be again to known in about a week or so.

you cant know your veins. it could be a knotted muscle. or your vein could be caught in your joint. causing it to tear else where. i wouldnt worry about it unless the bruise gets darker or larger. bruising is the natural sign that you have been injured. if the knot is still there in a couple of days it is best that you talk to your doctor.

You should go to the doctor and get it checked just in case. It could be nothing or it may be something more serious such as a blood clot.

If I were you I'd go to the doctor first thing tomorrow. Better safe than sorry!
