Let's get something straight here.

Menopause is not a process. Menopause is the cessation of the menstrual cycle, and can only be identified in retrospect, as in, it's been a year with no periods and no spotting, that must have been menopause.

Perimenopause is a process, and it generally begins in the early 30's. That's why fertility rates begin to decline in the early 30's.

You haven't talked about soy in your diet, and that would help. Other than that, talk with your doctor. Or, just get used to the idea that this is a normal part of life, just as is menarche, menstruation, childbirth and death.

I was your age when menopause hit. Doctor put me on a very low dose of hormones for a short time. I went off them after 6 months and suffered through the rest myself. Still have a few hot flashes but wanted to try it without the hormone if I could. It will end, be patient. Another thing that helped me was my diet. I gave up sodas, coffee and stuck to juices and good foods. No junk food. I feel better now than I have in years.

I'm curious to know your age, not being nosey like, but I don't see periods due to Depo, but have been having other symptoms, like hot and sweaty at night, even through the winter I've been throwing the covers off.I wish I could help, but I think i'm going through the same, Sorry

Try finding a recommended Homeopath; there is a lot more to the menopause than people think. Good luck..

Yes see your doc and get your hormones checked to be sure this is what is going on. Once there you can discuss all of this with your doc and decide where to go from here.
