I've read an excerpt of it at 6th grade. It was OK, and it didn't..like stand out to me, except the name Beowulf. I'm not sure if I want to watch the movie though, but if there is a movie, I'm hoping there isn't a love story, that would make the whole thing a bit lamer.

No you fool, Beowulf is an extremely old English poem celebrating a Scandinavian hero named Beowulf. After comments of a village being under pressure via a monster, Beowulf inspects the English village, unearths the monster and kills it, looking out that the monster had had a toddler with a human. Then the mum of the monster lures Beowulf into her lair and tries to kill him yet Beowulf prevails and saves the day. desire this helped.

I didn't enjoy reading the poem in high school, just liked the storyline. Eaters of the dead was great though, and so was the movie 13th warrior.
i didnt know there was a movie coming out? no beowulf movie ever starred a mythical or supernatural beast, it would be a nice to see it happen.

Junior high when I first came to America and I love it. It was the first English book I read. I can't wait to see the movie.

I read it at primary school and did a little story about it, for which I won a commendation in assembly. I would say it was the pinnacle of my career. Didn't know there was a film coming out. It's guaranteed to be tarnished with the acrid smog of Hollywood my friend.........

Yes we read it in my 12th grade English class. It was good. I didn't even know they were coming out with a movie.

yeah i read it in 8th grade. Which was a looooooooong time ago, so i don't remember much about it except he killed a monster by ripping its arms off or something.
