I think it was in the early sixties - three brothers - no parents - one brother was dark hair and eyes and eldest, one brother was taller and light, and there was a younger brother teenager or younger.

I found the name of the show 'It's A Man's World' aired in 1962-63. Glenn Corbett, Randy Boone, Ted Bessell, Michael Burns were in it along with others. It was about two brothers, Glenn oldest (Wes McCauley) and his younger brother, Randy Boone. The lived on a houseboat and it was about there life and Glenn had to keep things clean and moral so he could keep his brother living with him. I guess there really was a lot of people who were disappointed when it was taken off. The reviews I found said it was a well written show and was one of the better shows at the time. It was replaced by Movies.

Could you give us more details, like what kind of show it was? In the 80s the show Simon & Simon with Gerald McRaney & Jameson Parker had one brother living on a boat-- they were detectives and it was sort of their base of operations.

Then there was Flipper with the dolphin in the 60s but I don't think they lived on the boat. Sea Hunt, too.

Was it American?

I think I remember one with Clu Gluager-- Maybe The Makenzies of Paradise Cove? Some orphans and he pretends to be their uncle or something. . . I think they lived on a boat...

Anything else you remember, maybe what network?

I found a description-- it's late 70s:

Viking - Small charter fishing boat on the maritime adventure THE MACKENZIES OF PARADISE COVE/ABC/1979. The Viking was owned by bachelor fisherman Cuda Weber (Clu Gulager), who ran a charter boat service out of Paradise Cove, Honolulu. Among Cuda's many daily chores was tending to group of orphaned children (The Mackenzies) who had made him their pseudo-uncle to keep them from being separated by the state welfare system. Their parents had been killed at sea.

(Looks as if there were three boys and two girls among the orphans.)

Okay, not doing it either-- how about Surfside 6?
