also isnt obvious that china and russia have teamed up with iran?? they worked really hard to get sanctions away from iran. not to mention china has a multi-BILLION investment with iran. russia has been helping iran with there missile system.

also if you throw in islamic attacks, pakistan,afganistan,yemen,kuwait,phillipeans,egypt,turkey,and thialand.

Look, we wouldn't be at the edge of world war three if bush didn't stick his nose in every ones business. He practically controls the middle east and killed so many innocent there. And when someone defends, well their terrorists. If he just left everyone alone and let them live their life and vote for the government they want then we wouldn't be on the brink of the third world war. So every country should mind his own business.

people say world war 111, but it is truly known as the Battle of

you make an interesting point, but i believe to be at "world war 3" there would have to be conflict between 2 modern forces (ie russia vs US) (france vs england), or more of a possibility is russia and china vs the US. (although not very possibly).

we are a long way off those things and no country really wants to spend, or even has enough resources (except the US, and china to a much smaller extent) to really fight a war. im not sure anyone in the US wants to fight any sort of enemy, unless there is another 9/11 caliber attack. I go to school in boston and the anti war feelings here are very strong.

As a canadian i would say that canada is far from fighting any kind of war. (unless they keep moving hockey teams to the southern US, where no one ever likes hockey)

It is a war on terrorism so that means a never ending war. War cannot be won when it doesn't have a enemy to fight. Terrorism will not fight on the front lines it retaliates from the dark corners. Therefore it could be considered as a ww. But it will never come to a close. Remember the roman empire from history or the Mongolian empire from history. When one power seems to be unbeatable and throws its power and demands onto others sooner or later they will revolt and good triumphs.We are in the American Empire now and the rest of the world dislike our direction and actions.

Cbs 60 minutes only show very small portion of the overall interview which made him look as bad as they could but when you see the whole interview you find he has very good points that need to be listened to carefully, without prejudice.

I don't know what defines a 'world war' exactly, but the conditions sure seem tumultous. It is scary. no, in the last world war 100's of thousands of soldiers lost their lives a year, and this so called war hasnt produced those type of numbers in 5 years, not even close, only about 800 american soldiers are dying a year, no world war, besides the power house countries arent facing each other
