my last shot of depo was in july i never had a period and wanted to get pg. My doctor gave me three months of birth control pills. i am just finishing my first month of pills and finally i got my period(i am so happy i finall go it). but i was wondering since i finally got a period should i take the other 2 months of pills or should i wait. it been 7 months since i have been ttc, and getting a period. so should i take the other months or just get off of them and try to get pg?

If your doctor wanted you to take the whole supply then you should to regulate your periods. If you stop, your periods could still be irregular. I am sure you will make the best choice and I wish you the best of luck.

This is a kind of personal question, but since you asked so nicely here, I'm going to advise you discuss this with the person you want to get pregnant with. I mean, it's not just a belly, its at least 18 years and thousands of dollars. You can't ditch the baby at any spot, we're talking school plays, band rescitals, braces, first crush, bad art, broken bones, sick stay up all night nights, and finally they move out and you've spent all that time raising the little bugger, and you're much older.

i would take one more month of pills to make sure you have atleast two periods back to back.. that way you won't get excited if you don't get another period... goodluck though and i have my fingers crossed

i would go ahead and take at least one more pack, so that your period can become regular and you have a better chance at getting pregnant
