ok well here's the deal, i'm not old enough 2 have a job yet, and i'm going on a trip next week, and i want 2 get an ipod video but i don't have the money. my sister has an ipod video with a warranty, so if i told the people at an apple store that she lost her ipod, would she be able 2 get a new one (for me)? would you have 2 have proof of losing it? i kno it sounds cruel but i really need something fast...

The iPod warranty will only cover damages to the iPod. You can't get a new iPod with the warranty. The only thing that you can do with the warranty is send the iPod to the apple company to see if they can fix it. If they can't fix it only then will you get a new iPod.
