I am a regular girl size 8 but big on top. I am a 36D and have a really hard time finding a strapless bra, or any bra in general. Right now I love the victoria secret secret embrace collection but I wasnt thrilled with the strapless - it was too overly padded and didnt give me a good shape. I am looking for a bra to wear in general for the summer and something to wear with a bridesmaid gown. I usually dont like to wear stapless stuff because I think I look fat. I appreciate any advice. Thanks!

unfortunately dear, there arent really any good strapless bras for us chesty girls.. that miracle hasnt been made yet.. because no one can defy gravity. your best bet is to get a "convertible bra" that you can turn into a halter {so the straps can help with support} because although there are strapless bras made in that size, they're really no good.. but Victoria's Secret really is your best bet for a GOOD bra for that size.. hopefully soon they may come out with the magical D size strapless bra! sorry. i feel your pain

Have you tried getting something with invisible (clear) straps?
I'm a 34-36D and I've had bras sewn into my formal dresses.
Perhaps go back to Victoria's Secret and ask them if they have any more strapless bras to try. Even some department stores (like Macy's etc..) might have something. Keep looking and good luck!!

it is dang expensive for a bra but nordstrom's carries one called Le Mystere Dreams 9755. It is on of the Oprah's favorite brands. Felina also makes one called Hint Of Skin 6202. Also, try other kinds of strapless ones at VS. They should have a box of different bras in your size. I think I have just the normal IPEX one, not the secret embrace one. It does not have a lot of padding at all.

It fairly relies upon on what you call "expensive". I actually have a body through Victoria converter bra that straplessly holds my 34DD rack very precise, and that is ridiculously smooth.

Accept the fact that your breasts are really too big for a strapless bra. D cups look better when the cleavage is exposed. Wear styles which do that.
