Is it better to buy a cell phone from a Cingular Store when starting a 2 year contract, or is it just as good to buy it from Best Buy and get a 2 year Cingular contract there if Best Buy is offering a better deal on the price of the phone?

I would tell you to shop around, you get different offers from different places why limit yourself only to best buy or the cingular store other places do sell cingular phones you will be surprised how many places offer good phones at great prices. Just be sure to read the fine print.....

i would have to say it would be better buying from the actual cingular store! Because those people that work there can answer your questions better since their trained to no about each and every phone whereas the people at best buy are just there to sell phones of any brand and no least about each phone....overall you would be better satisified buying from the store itself and if something went wrong you would have a better liklihood of getting a hassel free exchange!!!

skip both and head to an authorized TMobile store.
Left Cingular couple of years ago for TMobile and have much better service, billing and everything.

only concern is when iPhones come out? I just hope I can keep TMobile if I want one. if I'd have to switch back, I'll probably keep TMobile and fuggetaboutit ;-)
