what is an xbox live box?

ok i have a modem w/ one ethernet cord connection and i want to play xbox live but when i go 2 sign up it tells me 2 check my cords when i plug the cord up it tells me that there are technical diffuculties and 2 try again l8ter

There is no such thing as an XBOX Live box. If it is showing that error message, then you have a bad connection or the cable is not set up properly. If that is not the problem, then perhaps one of your connection cables is defective.

No such thing as a xbox live box. your ethernet cables are probably broken or something.
