The book is set in the Revolutionary War. It's about a young girl that is in a village and the British soldiers take over her town and home. She dresses up as a boy and smuggles messages in a loaf of bread to the wigs. I read this book in elementary school and it was an old book then. I really enjoyed it and would love to read it again. I've looked all over the web and even contacted my elementary school library. Does anyone know the name and/or author of this book? Please Help!
