I just got an iPod shuffle and don't know how to work it at all. I am running off of Yahoo music - not iTunes (not sure if that makes a difference).
YahooMusic is reading that the iPod is there and I transferred my songs successfully but when I try to listen to it - it just flashes green and orange at me.
I just got it today (maybe an hour ago) and it's sitting on it's docking station flashing orange. When I take it off and turn it on it's green for a second then no light at all. When I hit play it flashes green and orange.
Any idea what's going on?? Thanks for your help.

It sounds like it isn't fully charged, and yeah, I hope you didn't spend lots of money on YahoO! MusiC because you have to use iTunes. That's the rub.

Actually I think that your shuffle is dead.
It happens in 9 out of 10 of the old ipod shuffles.
There's nothing you can do but take it back.

U have to use itunes!!! That is the only bad thing about ipods.
