what is a good score or an average score on the sat reasoning test. normally i'm a good test taker and i have advanced classes, but my sat score, in my opinion, is poor. i can't answer the questions fast enough.

is a 1570 good for most colleges or should i take it again. This is what i made:

Critical Reading 490
Math 630
Writing 450
Multiple Choice 45 (score range: 20-80)
Essay 7 (score range: 2-12)

A rough average score on the SAT is a 1500 combined score (roughly 500 in each section). If you can't answer the questions quickly enough, then practice with a prep book. That should be able to familiarize you with the test and boost your speed.

On a scale of 200-800, the averge score is 508 in Critical Reasoning.

In math, the average score is 520.

In writing, the average score is 510.

It's probably worth taking it again, depending on the school/program you want to get into.

Check out the Princeton Review's book, Cracking the SAT for info about pacing and why you DON'T want to answer all the questions.
