do peole have belly buttons that they can see the end of, or does everyones disappear into an abyss
why is there this difference
and its not because im fat that i cant see into it thankyou

Mine is sorta flush with the tummy, it doesn't stick out and it barely makes a hole. I can run my hand over it and feel it slightly.

My husband has a big belly and a veeeeeerry deep belly button. He can put a q-tip into it and loose it if he doesn't hang on!
Mine used to be just a little scoop-I could see the little knot thingy-I was a skinny little kid. But now, Im a plus-size woman and it goes pretty deep.
I swear, I actually know a guy who doesn't have one...I think he's an alien.

It's an individual thing. Some stick out, some are shallow.
My son was laying on the floor this morning flooding his belly button w/ a teaspoon of water and laughing his butt off 'cause the whole teaspoon fit. This was his answer to cleaning his dirty belly button.

Its just a reminder of where you came from,usually from your mother's womb.It holds no spiritual power,and has no function to the body,after it heals,and the stump falls off when you were about 7-10 days old.The remnants a visible inside the belly if you ever have abdominal surgery etc,surgeons won't cut through it,they cut around it so not to mess up your cute "belly button"! It really isn't important that you "can't see " into it,it's wasn't meant to be that way. Take care. SW RNP

I think a lot of people can see the end of their belly buttons. They kind of just taper off to a point. Belly buttons are pretty weird though.

no belly buttons arent cavernous. the difference is the ammount of belly fat you have. you have more belly fat so your belly button is deeper than someone that has very little fat.

If you have what they call an outie you can see the end of it as it doesn't go "into" the stomach like most do.
