You probly pulled a muscle, just put some ice on it for 15-20 minutes then relax in a hot bath. If that doesn't do the trick, and the pain continues; go see a doctor. If you work in a kitchen, your probly on your feet most of the day, so if your back really hurts take a day or two off. Standing up for long periods can flare your back up, so lay down or sit at least once every 1-2 hours. And NO twisting or bending straight down until your back feels better!

Good luck, and hope you feel better :)

the pain could be that you strained your back leaning over the counter. it is best that you apply heat and ice alternating between the two. take it easy. if it is possible sit while you cook at the counter in a suportive chair till your back stops hurting.

Why don't you go to the doctor he might be able to help. And then go see an English teacher for the misspellings.
