I've asked this question before in separate parts, but I'm putting it together now. I'm trying to give myself a makeover and the following is what I'm trying out. I'm wondering if guys look good in these:

Outside, not being Athletic (about 80% of the time outdoors):
Polo shirt (or occasionally T-shirt), jeans (or cargo shorts if it's really hot), tennis shoes, zip-up hooded sweater if it's cold, my favorite cap (optional)

Outside, being Athletic:
T-shirt, basketball shorts, tennis shoes

Indoors/Crashing at a Friend's Place:
T-shirt (long-sleeve "T-shirt" or sweat shirt if it's cold), sweat pants or warm ups (or basketball shorts if it's hot), flip-flops, pull-over hooded sweater if it's cold

I want to have a "Southern California" and laid-back type of look. I'm from LA and am currently 19 and in college at USC, so you can guess what my favoirte cap is (please don't make any USC comments here).

OMG i would love to have a guy like you...i think the way you dress is fine...i love guys that wear sweat pants and crap like that!!!
but if you want a more SO CAL look go to Hollister...anything you buy there is perfectly fine...but i honestly would not change a thing...
As long as your comfortable i dont think it matters!!!!

But if you still want to change your look here are some suggestions:
1) hollister or surfer t-shirts are great! like O'neill or Fox something beachy. or ralph lauren polo's are always hott on guys..no matter what color
2)'holey" jeans are a must!!!! and make sure they are faded out like kinda bleached washed....Girls love that..or atleast i do
3) Rainbows, Sperry's, Clarks, or nike shox are great...but if you want a more beachy vibe then i would go for the rainbows...and they last forever
4)guys in hats are always hot!! as long as they are fitted and the bill is curved. DO NOT but a grandpa hat with the netting on the back!!! that is a major fashion dont
5) Spike your hair if its short..or if you have surfer or skater hair just leave it alone
6)hollister cologne, or burberry, that new polo stuff smells good

I hope that helped!!!!

alright man, i'm not going to give you the "just be yourself" talk.
For a laid back Los Angeles look you need some Hollister. Go and get yourself some Vans [shoes] and some faded jeans. You're set. Oh! and don't forget to mess up your hair.

p.s. i'm from anaheim, california =D

attempt some khaki shorts incredibly of denims. shipment shorts in any coloration with a superb polo or surfer looking T. turn Flops are solid. make confident your Tshirts are not in easy terms a easy Tshirt get something on it or do a layout. easy is uninteresting. Basketball shorts are in easy terms ok whilst enjoying basketball or different activities...whilst donning tennis footwear with shorts please get short socks the shorter the extra advantageous its suited to no longer see them....with denims do no longer bypass with a uniform wash. mixture it up.

This is so wierd.
Just be yourself, and buy what you like.
That's so much hotter.
And you like The Raconteurs, or how ever you spell it.
So, you have some taste in music, probably in clothes to.
Don't commit yourself to one label, trying too hard is so annoying.
