Could a cruise control be added to a 1007 after it has been built?

I guess you mean a 2007. There are many aftermarket cruise controls that you can add to just about any car. You can add factory options later but it can get pretty costly going through the dealer. Its best to get options you want when you buy the car new.

Hmmm, must be a trick question, right. In those days, I do not think chariots pulled by horses had cruise control.

Yes, you can add cruise control to ANY vehicle new or old. The only problem is that it will not be intgrated most times. You might have a lighter size button on the steering wheel or something, but it can be done.

not sure what a 1007 is, but be it a boat or a car you can get a cruise control for it after market. just look under cruise control for a car and auto pilot for a boat.

yes. You have 2 options.
1 - you can purchase an aftermarket system and have it installled. the downside is that you may have a rather ugly switch assembly attached to your turn signal arm.
2 - Have the dealer instal an oem kit for you. It would be a plug and play system because every car is wired for every option, so the wiring is already there, it would just be a matter of installing the switch, servo and modules
