Do guys really care about pleasing your woman?

I have read alot of books, mags, be to the sites on line, but I have a concern? There is ALOT of material about "How to please you man". Sexually, emotionally, etc....... But my question is...Are men just a concerned about pleasing women as we are about pleasing you. Not to be rude in any way, but women wanted to please their man (some ANYWAY they can), they read everything and will try almost everyting under the sun to make our guys happy. Are men just as concerned about as we are, or could they really care less?

Definitely. It makes me feel better when I please somebody I'm with. I believe sexual pleasure is a two-way street. And, to answer the second part of your question, When having sex I will do anything the woman wants me to do but we need to communicate. I have to know what she wants. I also try and please them in an emotional way by letting them know I care. Each partner is very important to me.

Personally, I think that is a really good question. Every answer is likely to be different and totally subjective so, this is just my opinion.

I believe that a man who truly values and loves his woman wants very much to please her. As a matter of fairness, however, it's gets really old when the woman is not as concerned about pleasing him. Now, all this is assuming the relationship is based on real emotions such as friendship and love and not just on sexual fulfillment which is a driving, physical need for men.

If the relationship is just based on fulfillment of sexual needs, well, that's another story. In that case I believe that, generally, a guy will do the minimum necessary to see that his needs are being met.

Now again, in fairness, yes there are a lot of selfish men out there. Their actions are largely geared towards fulfilling their physical needs for sex with little concern for what the woman gets out of it. Of course, those men are commonly referred to as dogs, pigs, players or whatever.

However, there are a lot of selfish women out there as well. You don't have to spend very many hours on Answers to figure that out if you don't already know that from personal experience. Look at some of the responses to relationship questions, especially in the marriage and divorce section. It's all about what the woman can do to make HIM understand or make HIM do this or do that. It's rare anyone ever suggests asking him what HE's thinking, feeling or needing.

Although, there are a lot of selfish men out there, I don't know that men as a whole are basically selfishish. There are also a lot of selfish women out there and I'm not so sure that women, as a whole, are basically selfish although in my personal experience, I've met a lot of them!

You know what's funny that most people do? They give to others what they want. You see women asking here 'could I do this romantic thing for my husband? would he like it?" and I always answer 'do you really think he wants it, or is it that YOU want romance - in which case - ASK for it, and give him what HE wants'.

I have a theory on this one. My theory is that when it comes to sex, women care more about technique, men care more about physical assets. Seriously, I don't know women read all that cosmo crap, it says the same thing over and over. You know what men want in bed? An enthusiastic girl who doesn't injure us somehow. Period. Anyway ...

Women care about men's technique, so they _assume_ that we care a lot about their technique. So they read and read and read about new ideas and positions and tricks that are basically worthless. Men meanwhile, we care about physical assets, so what do men do? They come post question after question here about whether their penis is big enough, and then go spend 20 minutes a day jelqing or whatever.

I guess you could say both men and women are equally concerned, and probably worry about the wrong things.

Relationship are about pleasing each other so yes men that value women derive great pleasure in pleasing his lady. Good communication is in part learning about what makes us happy as person and in the relationship.

I cant speak for all guys but to me it is the most important thing, I always please my partner and I want to find out what really pleases her and I make sure I do exactly what she wants. Communication is very important in all aspects of a relationship

yes most guys care about pleasing women if they really love them they would care so the relationship would be happy on both ends

well lets see all these mags and whatnot your seeing are from cosmo, glamor, maire claire, etc. but your not reading stuff, maxim and fmh and similar magazines that men read. all you see is the half naked woman on the front but a lot of these magazines offer advice about how to please a woman and that half naked women you see on the front has a spread where she chimes in on sex advice. so you see your not looking. i know i am ALWAYS about pleasing my woman first then getting the favor returned and some of those mens magazines offer some good advice... try reading one...
