It was a short story by Ray Bradbury that I read back in middle school but forgot the title. The planet rains all the time except this little girl knows what the sun looks/feels. She explains it to her classmates but they don't believe her.

I remember that story; I read it about a year ago... It's called "All Summer in a Day." 100% positive. It's a great story, hope you enjoyed it! :D If you want to get more information about this story, click on the link below...

Note - It is DEFINITELY not the "Long Rain", why would someone tell you that? It's totally misleading. If you click on their link below, you can read a short summary of the story and see that the plot is completely different.

Its The Long Rain from the Illustrated Man Collection. Yeah they are right, it is All Summer In A Day!!!

Yeah, it is "All summer in an afternoon" and there is a marvelous short movie to accompany the tale too. i am going to not in any respect ignore a useless ringer for the children status in the front of lamps to get their "solar". Chilling!
