I hate Texas. The people threre think they are better than everyone else. I will mess with Texas.

Never having the pleasure of visiting Texas I can't say - though we had one visit once - A Texan farmer goes to Australia for a vacation. There, he meets an Aussie farmer and gets talking. The Aussie shows off his big wheat field and the Texan says, "Oh! We have wheat fields that are at least twice as large. Then they walk around the station a little, and the Aussie shows off his herd of cattle. The Texan immediately says, "We have longhorns that are at least twice as large as your cows". The conversation has, meanwhile, almost died when the Texan sees a herd of kangaroos hopping through the field. He asks, "And what are those?" The Aussie replies with an incredulous look, "Don't you have any grasshoppers in Texas?"

yeah I know you said people who aren't native Texans but I had to jump in and defend my country.
I am a Native Texan....and you are right!!!
Texas is it's own country!
We are nothing like the other states. We have it all.
and if folks don't like us...........
we can daMn sure secede the union again eh?

Texas is OK i work,lived,married,divorced in Texas but i have had some of the best times in my life in Texas wow that brought back a lot of memories good and bad i never want to forget any of them........RIP Darrel

Someone once said,"Only steers and queers come from Texas" It's not true and I don't know who said it and I've never been there but in the movie Giant it looks hot and baron.

These yankees don't understand that it is, in fact, the greatest COUNTRY on earth! It should be its own COUNTRY, because it's so awesome! It also has been its own COUNTRY before.

Hmm...We are neighbors because I' am from Louisiana. It is all the south. I like the really heavy Texas accent, history, and barbecue. Nothing like the south.
