I know this sounds patronising,but have you registered your sim?If you have try checking the sim is in properly,the amount of times ive just 'thought' i slot it when i actually havn't!.Also go back to the shop where you got your phone/sim from and ask them, theyre normally quite good at helping out.Hope that helps!

I truthfully have an identical prob on my nokia n95 wot i do is --- wen you turn your fone on devoid of postpone bypass 2 placing then known and production facility settings click on it yet dont reset the fone after a jiffy go out 2 the stand by ability of reveal and it is going to stay to tell the story from there works on n95 in any case all u prefer 2 do after that's save your fne charged so it dosnt bypass off wish this facilitates

go were you bought the phone so they can activate the card for you,,it might of not gone in,,
