i think it is Billy Coen. why? why.
#1 i have been telling my friends the exact same thing that if you compare the re0 billy holding the gun about to shoot the queen leech, and you compare r.e.5's charater, remove the facial hair, you can kind of see an older Billy.
#2 you may want to think about this. i dunno if you noticed but there seems to be some pattern with showing each character in 2 games. whether having a walk on role, or being a main charater. Chris has been in 2 games already as such as Leon, Jill, Claire, ect. that does bring up the "what about wesker" piont well Wesker is a villain, a major bad boy. of course he will try be in every game the creators can put him in! Billy, has only been in one game. it just won't make sence to bring in a new character especally where they are in the major r.e story.
#3 appearence is important and i know alot of people see that resemblence between R.E.5 guy and Chris, and the major question that i didn't even think of "if it's Billy, where are the Tatoos? well we're talking 7 years! that 7 year of change! don't belave me? here are examples:
leon kennedy: brunnette to blonde.
claire Redfield: babey face to a young womens face.
Jill valentine: stars outfit to blue too-tight outfit
#4 this is what one poster on a different forum posted which i agree: what we all saw WAS A TRAILER!!! that has been relaesed in 2005,-2006, the producers are still working at it, you know how sometimes the movie or videogame is a little different from the trailer. the trailer was just to get us excited for something really big. everything about the game could change from the trailer. but with what i said in the last three piontes it is very possible all signs could lead to Billy.

right now nobody knows for sure but there are some speculations that a character from a past resident evil may be the main character. however in the screenshots the new character looks barely like any of the past characters
