There is probably a lot of traffic going through that site.

If there are a lot of users connected to the site and doing things on the site the site will run slowly because of bandwidth.

You could have the fastest internet in the world, if someone has a very bad site that runs of a crappy server, it will run slow, especially if a lot of people are connected to it.

Freewebs should run slow, it is a site that millions go to to make their own site, then once their site is made they just have their friends leech bandwidth off of it.

Don't feel it needs to be fixed. If you want a fast site, you must buy it, there isn't another way around it, unfortunately. :(

if you are trying to load a particular page and the problem only occurs with it. It might be the servers on which the page is hosted that are slow or have a slow connection with your internet service provider's servers (even if you have a broadband connection). This might occur if the page you are trying to access is hosted at a geographically distant place to where you are and your ISP servers are located. That is what I could think of as a logical explanation to the problem loading.

freewebs.com uses hsared servers to host sites (a common practice!) and their servers may be under heavy load. Anothoer thing may actually be your browser cache. Try deleting your browser cache and cookies and try again with the site.

If this doesn't help, then depending on your actual needs, you may want to look at paid hosting. There are many hosting options for under $10 per month and Yahoo has the most reliable tat I know of in that price range.
