A friend of mine recommended James Patterson for thriller novels (my favorite genre). Which of his books do you most strongly recommend, and think are the best?

That said, also, what other authors do you also recommend for thriller novels? I've enjoyed Stephen King, Dan Brown, John Grisham, and I'm curious about other authors.

Thanks.

There is one James Patterson novel that I do NOT recommend: Private Eyes. I was so mad at the ending, I chucked the book across the room.

Try David Baldacci.

Alexander McCall Smith's book are not thrillers, but they are dective stories that are absoluetly charming!

When the Wind Blows is a wonderful book. It's more of a fantasy-type book than some of his others, but it's really good. I've read it and loved it. Not as much as a thriller as some, but an amazing book by James Patterson regardless.

Any one with Alex Cross in it. Try to start with the first one. I adore James Patterson, and I literally have to buy whatever he writes. He is awesome.

I also love Robert B. Parker (Spencer stories are awesome), Richard North Patterson, Sue Grafton, Patricia Cornwell, Dennis Lehane and Thomas Harris.

I liked some of his older books- Jack and Jill, four
Blind mice, When the Wind Blows, Hide and Seek. Almost any book of his is good. He is a great writer. Other Thriller writers that are good are: Harlan Coben, Jonothan Kellerman, Tami Hoag,John Saul, to name a few.Stephen White is very good also.

in case you haven't any longer study "evening Sins" and "to blame as Sin" by ability of Tami Hoag I advise you p.c.. them up. They characterize the type you have an activity in. A made for television action picture became into executed with one in each of them regardless of the undeniable fact that it did no longer do the story justice. action picture hardly interprets a sturdy tale nicely, in my opinion.
