I am trying to get the hairspray off that is on my bathroom floor without every week using a brillo pad and sitting there forever.

I don't think it's hair spray. But you can try shampoo. Shampoo takes hair spray from your hair, why not floor?

good answer saaanen, shampoo , or a quick wipe with Detox Wipes, what kind of flooring have you ? can you wash it with a normal mop, if so then hot boiling water and what ever you use for cleaning the floor . I use hairspray have ceramic flooring and no problems cleaning it off this way

Vinegar. Put it in a spray bottle and spray good. Let it sit and then wipe it off with a cloth soaked in warm water.

For a hard-floor try Goo-Gone or white vinegar, for carpet try a carpet cleaner with Oxyclean in it.

Rubbing alchohol? That's usually pretty good on sticky messes...

I saw this question before, and I think the answer that got the best answer was to use rubbing alcohol, IDK for sure. I just use pine cleaner or that really strong orange concentrate stuff.
