i'm a nerd i guess so i have an online meeting i live in mississippi
what time zone do i live in? central, pacific etc?
what time zones are for which states?
and if it's 4:15 PM here what time is it in those zones?

Look in the front of your phonebook for the chart. It's 2:15 here in pacific so you are central

just look it up in your regional settings on your computer
since you are a nerd you propbably have linux as os so that wont be a problem. You also can calculate it by yoyurself you only need the difference in degrees of the lattitude and divide this by 15, the number you get is the astronomical time difference in hours

rather than just give you the answer, i would like for you to find it for yourself. here is what you can do if it is at all possible. get a road atlas from a local truck stop and in the front of the book is a map of the u.s. and it has all the time zones running through it and at the top it tells you what the time differences are. or---get a map from your local library of the u.s. and do the same thing. you will remember it better if you do it yourself instead of someone giving you the answer. best of luck, r. j. leary
