I am trying to create a website that will allow playing background music of my choice, while reading text. The company, Tip Top Website, has been less than very helpful as far as a solution, , but always at the ready to state a "could be this" type answer. The answer I have recently received is IE 7 will not allow (maybe) the user (me) to do this,(which they advertise you can). I'm really frustrated and at my wits end. How do I tell if I'm even using IE 7? I keep getting prompts to upgrade to it, so I assume I'm not not using it with my Windows XP SP2. I am using Using Yahoo as my browser. Is there a simple (or even not so simple),answer so I can create the Website I want? ANYBODY??? A new WEB Provide maybe? (Other than this fiasco I like the program they have...

To find the version of IE you are using, simply go to the help menu and click on "about". That should tell you. The reason that your computer prompts you to upgrade is that there are newer "builds" available for your browser.

Find the Help menu button

then hit the "About Internet Explorer" at the bottom of the drop down menu


That will tell you.

Ontop of your current screen, click on Help and click on About Internet Explorer, and it should give you the whole low down of the browser that you are using.
