Copy and Paste URL?

I have exp7 how come I can copy a URL but I can't paste it, seems I use to be able to? HELP PLEASE!

With your mouse, left click on the URL to highlight it, then right click and select 'copy'.
Now go to wherever you want to paste the URL, right click and 'paste'.

highlight url then hold the CTRL button and press C to paste hold CTRL and hit V
