I had the same problem with my V325. Depending how old it is you should be able to take it to your phone store and exchange. Verizon did for me. I exchanged twice but they said that was it since I had no case. I just got a v3 razr and hope it dosn't do it too.

take it to the shop where you bought it and they will fix it for free or cheap
