McAfee, Norton, or Kaspersky

Mostly people hate McAfee. I wanna know why they don't like McAfee. Please tell me the reason. Thanks

It depends on who you ask. But, i would recommend Kaspersky over the other two. Norton and McAfee are good products but they are notorious for being resource hogs and they also incredibly hard to uninstall. Kaspersky has been in security software market for decades. Their virus scanner has always been in the top 3. The one con is that Kaspersky is more expensive than the other two. Kaspersky costs about $80 for 1 license. Norton and McAfee, without rebates or special sales, costs the same but offer licenses for up to 3 computers.

I agree with the answer above. Kaspersky is the best anti-virus program around. But may I also add that to be fully protected you need a really good anti-spyware program as well. I highly recommend CounterSpy. The new version just released is the best anti-spyware available, also it does not cost the earth. With these two programs you will have the ultimate protection without any loss in computing speed.
