What are the bristles on printers?

What are those little bristles on printers where the paper comes out after printing? They are spread out so much that it's probably not to wipe anything away. They don't move... Give me some links in your answers please.

I believe those are anti-static brushes. Keeps the papers from grabbing each other and causing jams.
