My birthday's coming up in a few weeks, and I would like a new purse/ handbag. I would like it to be pretty large. I know Vera Bradley is becoming pretty popular, but I don't want to have what everyone else has. I want to set a fashion statement. Any name brand you think will become popular with the teen crowd next that I could check out would be greatly appreciated. Price range- no higher than $50. Thanks!

I don't mean to sound snotty, but most of the nice handbags & purses are going to cost more than $50, which I think is crazy, but I am guilty of buying them.

Big bags are definately in, but you need to get one that goes well with your body size. If you're a big girl, get a giant bag. If you're not, get a medium sized bag, it will look big on a tiny girl anyway. Designer prints are in. Though a lot of snobby people would be against this idea, I'd say to go and buy a bootleg copy of another purse. They are cute and you can buy more than one for $50.

As you may or may not have heard, Lucite is totally in right now, and so are clear bags. I have seen several clear bags from Chanel and other designers. You may be too young, but when I was a kid, I had a lot of these clear bags with little designs on them. Hope I helped.

I can tell you exactly! I just got back from fashion training about purses (b/c I sell them). Anyway, here are the new hot trends for spring: animal print, red, shiny (patent leather), gold (as in like a chain), brown (what a surprise!), black and white, paterns, and contrast! I hope that helped! If you email me I can send you my site with our new Spring bags...You can DEF make a fashion statement with our bags b/c they can only be bought from us, and our company is all about making the statement.

If you have a purse party you could also get the bag for free. You might also want to talk to me about joining my team of sales people. You sound liek someone I would like to add!

Why would you want to be a part of a fad anyways? They come and go quicker than diapers on a baby. Well what ever bag you do get make sure it isn't to big, you might get back problems.
