The machine in the princess bride was supposed to suck years of someone's life? So since the guy in the movie got the machine on 50? Doesn't that mean that he'll lose at least 50 years off his life? and so he would've live with the buttercup until they get old?

see that would be true except miracle max gave him that pill covered with chocolate and that reversed what the machine did because when they took 50 years off of his life he ended up being mostly dead so he is gonna end up being dead in about 50 years from that point

The old wizard/alchemist/jew played by Billy Crystal reversed the process with a combination of a magic potion (with a chocolate coating, no less) and Wesley's own un-dying love.
