Yes. Use an optical mouse if you would like more areas to use the mouse. Optical mice read more surfaces than mice that have a ball and rollers. Either way, your laptop probably has a USB port. if not, it should have a PS2 port. Find out which one you have and go get a mouse.

Yes, most modern laptops will take a mouse. For example if you have a USB port available, you could install a USB mouse. You may also be able to install a PS2 mouse, or even a serial mouse. Just try it.

Absolutely! I use a track ball on my laptop and installing a mouse is just as easy. Just pick out the mouse you want from the store and follow the directions.

Of course!

USB (Universal Serial Bus) Mouses can work on any computer with USB ports.

Just Google search for a USB mouse or go to a local Circuit City, Best Buy, or Comp USA to get one. Make sure it's a USB Mouse though.

The only thing you need is mouse and sometimes drivers (not very often). What you do:
- connect mouse to the computer/laptop
- turn on computer
- install new hardware
- restart computer
it should work after that.
