Contrary to what many other people say, "The Blair Witch Project" screwed with my head big time. For about a week, every time I woke up during the night, I saw Mike standing in the corner.
There's really nothing scarier than that freaky, child laugh you hear in the woods. When they move the tent. I hate that.
And, to this day, I make sure I'm no where near a wooded area come sundown.

The Exorcist.
I saw it long ago when I was 20. My mother-in-law took me to see it. That movie did something to me at the time. I could never decide why or how, but it took me months to get over it. I felt nausous, ill, jitters, and feelings of evil after watching that movie.
It even took years to forget it and i would never watch it again.
I have watched many scary, horror shows and none ever effected my like that one.
As I got older I read that when you watch those types of movies you allow your soul to be open to evil. That is the chance to evil to affect you, physically and mentally. Some might call this just stress but I know it was more. Since then I am carefull what I watch.

The scariest movie I ever saw was Silent Hill. That movie still freaks me out. I saw it with my friend. In the movie, there is this freaky siren thing that goes off. Every time I spend the night with her, I always play it when she goes to sleep, and she gets soo scared! LOL!!

The Descent was AMAZINGLY scary. My dad, a huge horror buff that isn't really affected by anything in movies, had to leave the theater three times because of claustrophobia and nervousness. He was literally hyperventilating in his seat. A pure adrenaline rush and a brilliant movie. Definantly worth a check.

I am soooooo afraid of the Exorcist. I'm still afraid of Linda Blair.
Things like that scare me, but blood and gore don't really have any effect on me

I those two movies, they creep me out and frankly are too disturbing for my taste.
I got chills from the movie What Lies Beneath too. It had Harrison For d and Michelle Pfifer in it. I got the creep from it and could never go swimming in lakes or rivers since then. Only swimming pools for me from now on.

The Birds. I watched it when I was a kid, and I can´t still forget it. When you see all the birds waiting in the wires, etc. And in those days they didn´t have all the special effects we have now.
