i seem to have lots.... any handy secondary uses?

Use odd ones as willy warmers and in future buy all the same colour socks, you will never have odd ones again!

Seems like each load of laundry is powered by one sock. I had a basket full of " 1 " sock ... I found the perfect use for them when I moved. I used the sock to protect everything from figurines to expensive perfume's. You can use them as well for your favorite Christmas ornaments while taking down your tree. They will be safe & dust free. Also, if you have any one legged friends, pass them onto them. I know, I've been a amputee for 25 yrs. & never buy socks. Works for me. Marie

I usually will buy 2-3 pairs that are the same, so if one gets lost or
I get a run or hole in 1 , I use the odd sock .

I give them to a little boy that I know, he has chipmunks for pets. He puts straw in the socks and hangs them from a hook on a wall etc, and the chipmunks sleep in them, ( lovely and cosy)

I'm afraid i usually file them under B for bin!Either that or the kids would fill my house up with sock puppets :os

Try taking your dryer apart . You might find the rest of them there. I know the dam thing eats socks. Its been going on for years.

Use them to clean and dust, put left over soap pieces in and tie the end and use them in the shower, and I put catnip in them and tie the end to give to my two cats. Or you could make sock puppets!

I often see odd socks and shoes on the motorway - perhaps that is the norm to dump them there?

Hi i put mine all in a carrier bag under the bed & check them every few weeks to see if i can find a matching pair lol xxxxx.

you could cut them up and make them into gloves.
or if ou have a hole in something you can patch it up.
you can make them puppets and give them to kids.
thats all i got. i have plenty and i just put them together with the other odd socks.
