Well no you cannot fix it but you can usually diguise it. Well, in a way, you see what you needed was a cutting block so a good thing to do is call a carpenter and ask him how much it would cost ot inlay an attractive stone block over the area that was cut. So when you are done it looks like it is supposed to be there. Make sure the carpenter knows what he or she is doing. They will have to router out a square, oval, or circle exactly to match the stone you want to inlay. They may want to make it a tiny bit bigger and put a piece of ttrim around it. trick is that they have to center it so it looks like it is supposed to be there.when your done you have a beautifull peice of stone, marble or granite inlayed to be flush with your countertop.

Very tricky to sand a painted on finish with out ruining it. That is what Formica is (sorta). Fill the scratch with a matching color, and wait for the next scratch.

there is no real perfect way to fix it. but a neat trick it use modeling glue. like you buy to make models. place some in the slice then very carefully using very fine sand paper like 600 grit

lighlt sand the ridges down to match the surface. this works but it is very tricky so take your time and be very careful to ony get the ridges. not the top it self.
