On Alloy.com they have Waist (32.5) and Hip (42.5) is a size 15 pants.

If my waist is 33 and my hip is 43.. (the irony). Should i get a 15 jean?

does the .5 mean you can either be that or round up to 33/43?

Because the next size up is 17. And that is a Waist (34) and Hip (44). I'm assuming I should get the size 15. But I just want to make sure if rounding up is OK, when you get half sizes like what I explained above.

Thanks in advance.

I would have thought a size 15/16 would be more like a 34 waist and 44 hip. You sound more like a size 13/14. Maybe just get both and see what fits best, because you never know if the sizes will be true to the measurements stated.

HTH : )

I think that you should get the 15 jean. It seems like it would fit better than the size 17 jean.

TLC's What not to wear always says you need to buy the size that fits your biggest measurement. I would buy the next size up and then if you have to, find a good tailor and have them altered for a perfect fit. I am between sizes as well. And usually always try on both sizes and have to go up a size to fit my larger hips.

Yea I agree the 17 seems like it would be too big.
