Lately.......the term chick was ok years ago.

But now with women being more educated it undermines their position in society..

And some see it as a way of calling them "chicken heads"----------(on the down low) and we know thats no good.

You could choose a better term to describe a female. You have to remember, chick was used in the 70's to describe "fun girls", fun girls were sometimes looked upon as less than lady-like; it could be thought of as a precursor to all the other derogatory terms like skeezer, ho, bi tch, of the 80's.

No, I actually would like being called a chick because I think it describes a fun, sweet, flirty, cute girl. I wish I was a chick!

It depends on the tone of voice and the context.

I was having a debate with someone once, and I explained that, "Only chicks can call chicks chicks." :)

No ma its not,sometimes its used to not say *****,my guy Robert start calling girls chick when he got made instead of saying *****. But if in any other context no its not,it mean girl,lady,shawty,lil mama,babygirl,same meaning u dig?
