The Hush Sound is for pop indie, along with Hellogoodbye. But Meg and Dia and great or go old school with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers or even Queen!

You like alternative, then I am sure you have heard of Pearl Jam. The best. Also, Sonic Youth. It's worth listening to some older music aswell, like The Clash, Talking Heads, Nina Simone, Leonard Cohen...
