When I was in junior high everyone seemed to be trying to break dance or do the robot or moonwalk.
In high school, there was more vogueing going on.
I don't remember any particular dance that anyone was doing, like in the 70's or or the 90's. (like the Hustle or the Electric Slide)
But I do know that all the girls were vogueing at the senior prom!

I was about 18 in the 80's. It was a time just past 70's disco dancing where you had to learn certain dances like the Hustle. There was a lot of pressure to know certain dances then. Although I can't say if there were named dances in the 80's I think we were just all glad to go out and "strut our stuff on our own."

ahhh, the wonderful 80's. there were many different types. A lot of it was just make-it-up-along-the-way. There were a lot of drop-downs, and twists. It was just a whole lot of fun, you didnt worry wat you looked like on the dance floor doing your own thing. If you're doing it for a dance, just relax and let urself move to watever the music makes you feel like. Peace On Earth.
