Only if there is a design applied to the front, like fabric paints, transfers, embellishments and stuff. It keeps the agitator from scuffing it all up.

The reason I reverse clothes is to keep lint off. Also, if there is some detergent that doesn't dissolve it can keep it from streaking the 'good' side. I've done this for years and wouldn't dream of not reversing our clothes. I dry them this way , as well. And just in case anyone out there doesn't know...Don't wash towels or terry cloth with your clothes...especially don't toss in the dryer together! Thats begging for fuzz balls.

Yes, it's true.
Well, now, I can't say that they don't fade at all, or that I can prove that they fade less.
But here's an example-
your jeans will likely have those stress spots around the seams that look more white.
And some jeans, no matter how you put them in the basket and then in the wash, have that line that's close to te seam that's all whited out.
Well, if you turn them inside out, there's less rubbing around in there, and those spots tend to stay better-colored!
Good luck!

This is correct with some clothes and when cleaning, it's recommended that you lather the area with a liquid soap and turn it inside out to get grease and grass spots off. it does work. For black grease, use a good hand soap and rub in real good then reverse, the same for other spots.

yes i do, because it help the clothes to last longer as you said and to care for the designs if there is, to keep the buttom intact and so on. i also hang on the reverse side to protect the color from the direct sunlight to avoid fading.

I turn our jeans inside out to keep them from fading. Its a pain. I haven't tried hanging them outside to dry. Might be something to consider though.

this is easy. when you are washing colored clothes and blue jeans. turn them inside out. also hang them instead of putting them in the dryer. the damage comes from the dryer, mostly.
